the beach and last weekend

Addison, Tia Lindsey and I joined the Wagners for a Memorial Day weekend beach trip. Very fun. It was a perfect day. Breezy not hot and we got there early enough before the crowds. The kids did great and no one was burnt. They played in the sand and even tried swimming in the ocean. So much fun and we are grateful we were able to go.

At the bottom of the page is pictures from last weekend when Jared, Addie and I helped move Nana and PaPa from his apartment. She sure was tuckered out after the move and attached are pictures from the ride home.

Ragga Muffin

Today after the gym Addison and I made peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches. Addison ate a half piece and some sun chips. She and I went outside and enjoyed some shade from the shed and just talked. She is becoming such a big girl. She played with the lawn mower and then we had enough heat and went inside. She is saying more and more words. She says mama now, sits in time out proficiently and is just growing up way too quick. In the morning now she points at the potty. We aren't sure if she points because that's where mom and dad go or if she is starting to show interest. she has learned fetch and can throw things away or get things for you from another room. such a blessing. It's hard to remember when she didn't sleep twelve hours in a night. One of the greatest things she can do is mumble I love you. Jared gets tickled when she runs through his office yelling, "Da" and then runs into his arms.

Graduation and Sinus Infection with Mom

This last weekend was graduation. We are so thankful to be done and now I am praying for a job. Katy is a different place and I am hoping just for an interview. There are many applicants and many with more experience than I have. Katy has a reputation for hiring older more experienced principals so I will feel more than fortunate for an interview and or position. Pray for us. Graduation went well. We drove through horrible rain to Beaumont on Saturday. I thought we did well getting there in two hours. Thank goodness everyone arrived safely. Addison was fighting a sinus infection and well I'm thankful Jared and our family was there to help take care of her. She was a pill. Thank you for everyone who was able to make it as well as the nice words. It feels good to be done. Here are some pictures of Addison earlier this morning. She had clear ears but an infection in her sinuses. I was really pleased to hear that it wasn't her ears. Doctor said she looks great and she scored major points with Addison giving her 5 stickers. That kept her busy for a good thirty minutes. Addison's favorite nurse Raquel has left to work at another place and it was hard for Addison becoming acquainted with a new nurse. Addison is doing better. Already eating more and running into things. More pictures soon to come from this afternoon.
