Puddles are Fun

How is it that little ones find the puddles so easily. I gave in. The dress Addison is wearing is a one of a kind outfit made by mi madre.

Painters

Our neighbors down the street have a painting company. The crew just left. We are so pleased with their work! Come by and see it some time.

The Road Kings

So the pictures are from bottom up. We just got back from our big adventure this afternoon at about 3pm. We flew to Indianapolis, IN and picked up the Valkyrie Interstate. Drove from there in a taxi, with a really smelly guy in a taurus, to Lionsville. We had a quick pick up of the bike and then visited Jared's uncle and cousin. It was a nice visit and then we headed our way out of town. We made it all the way to Marion, IL that night. The comfort Inn Suites felt so nice after being on the road since 2pm in the afternoon. They had this funny octagonal cut out that we had never seen before. It was cut out of the bathroom and the other too from the master bedroom. That's right there was no wall closing off the bathroom. When Jared "had to go" he informed me to turn on the TV as loud as I could. Crazy. We had fun with it and took some funny pictures. Jared has clothes on in all of them and was just posing. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did. That night we ate dinner at a cute 20's steakhouse. It had a pianist and the embiance was wonderful. We weren't expecting much from the steak but it was all wonderful. The next morning we were on the road by 6:30am. We drove to Little Rock, Arkadelphia, and then to Mt. Vernon, Texas to meet Jared's parents. It was a long day but we had so much fun. We met a lot of really nice people. Mostly at gas stations. We at lunch at Whole Hog Cafe Barbecue in Little Rock, AR. We highly recommend it. The service and food was exceptional. Jared had the platter and I had a pulled pork sandwich. We are so blessed. We were able to spend Saturday night with the Kings in Ben Wheeler and ate a wonderful meal at "Our Place" in Mt. Vernon, Texas. It has a beautiful little square. I regret that we don't have any pictures of it because the Iphone had died by the end of the day due to Mrs. King's over usage. It was so nice to be with family and have a good night's sleep. Sunday we headed out to Huntsville and met up with my daddy and some friends of ours at the Texan. We later road off and headed down old HWY 75. While stopping in New Waverly we met up with two guys on sport bikes and they asked us if we wanted to go with them towards 59 south. We did and had a great time on FM 1484 East out of Willis, Texas. It was very windy and lots of fun. We took that to 105 East and ended up in Splendora, Texas. From there we headed home and was really excited to pick up our baby. She was happy to see us. The videos are of Jared dancing at the gas station in Little Rock and one of the roads we took in Hot Springs, AR. Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we did.

Visit with the Family

John and Brother Bear came for breakfast Wednesday morning. It was such a pleasure to spend time with them. We ate at a hole in the wall restaurant in Katy called Los Altos Jalisco. The breakfast tacos are great. Addison sat and entertained us through breakfast very well but afterwards, you can imagine, was ready to run. These are some photos from Wednesday morning.

Our Latest Adventure

So we have purchased another bike. The tourer, the silver 1100 bike, we previously owned is for sale and almost sold. The bike we purchased is in Indianapolis, IN. We looked all over and this is the bike Jared is in love with. I couldn't find the exact bike pictures but this is pictures of the same make and color ours is. We are flying out the 23rd to Indiana and then planning on driving home on it. Jared is really excited. I'm really scared but we decided together to take this new adventure. We decided although this doesn't make a lot of sense to do now, it makes all the sense in the world to do this together before adding a second addition to our family. NO I am not pregnant. This bike and trip is important to us. When we vacationed in Durango, Colorado a couple of years back we had plans and already paid to rent a harley and ride it through the mountains to Silverton, Co. Well I got sick and we were not able to make the trip. We have been wanting to make a trip together like this since. Addison came, and life happens. We are truly blessed that we will get to experience this together. Wahoooo. The challenge for me will be packing light for the trip. I'm thinking a pair of jeans, small make up bag and my cowgirl boots. More pictures soon to come as we drive from Indiana back to Texas in a three day time. Please pray for safe travel and care for Addison while we are gone. She will be with Mayra and in safe hands.
