Tigers are hard to catch and capture on film

Addie is doing great. Currently, I am blogging while listening to her not nap in her crib. No screaming or yelling just happy jabbering and talking to her stuffed animals. Attached are some pictures of our visit to my friend Mandy's party Friday night. As well as our fun visit with our friend Brenna and Erica. They are doing great. I forget how little they start off to be and how much they sleep. Addie was very curious of Brenna and wanted to see her. For the most part she did pretty good. Addie is walking well now and doesn't like to sit in the high chair for too long at restraunts. Also attached are some videos of us in action. She is still sweet as can be. Mommy loves the naps she and I take in the recliner in the evenings and we are certainly enjoying the new little smirks that she does now. She is still as alert as ever and when ever something is happening she wants to be apart of it. Addie loves her stroller and likes to be outside. She has been especially enjoying this weather.

Early Bath

Tonight we had an early bath. Addie and I were making casseroles tonight and homemade chilli. She kept coughing like something was tickling her throat. After several snacks and a bagel, everything came up. It came up from the bottom straight up. She got sick down my front and back side. Addie and I were wearing vomit in our hair, all over our clothes and the floor. We were hopping in the tub right away. I now can give Addie a bath by myself pretty sufficiently. Addie is fine and loving life. She just had a tickle in her throat a bit off too much to chew. Needless to say I called her Jared's daughter tonight.

Assignments, Tests and Schoolwork Oh My!

today Addie and I spent some time with my parents and sister who came to town. Jared had to put in some late nights the last couple of days so my parents and Lindsey offered to watch Addie while getting my coursework done and prepared for a test. Thanks guys! Love yall. It was really good to see my little sister. She is blossoming into this beautiful woman of God. I am so pleased and excited to see what He is doing with her. Enjoy the pictures and more to come from our visit with Mamaw and Papaw on Sunday.

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend I passed one of my qualifier tests for my graduate program! Yeah! Thanks be to God and I know it was only because of Him! Here are some pictures of visiting a pumpkin patch here in Katy after our lengthy nap. Thank you Mom and Jared for doing such a fabuloso job of holding down the fort while I drove to Beaumont and back Saturday morning. Love yall and thank you again!

Homecoming 2009

This weekend was homecoming at Sam Houston. We had a pleasant time but the weather was definitely crummy. It was a high of 70 and lows in the 50's. Put the sun didn't come out on Saturday. The Econo Lodge was ok but Addie missed her crib. The first night she gave me a hard time and woke up three times. Saturday was a dream. She slept all night. I don't know if it was because she was more comfortable or if she was so tired from the night before that's why she slept so much.
Addie now has four teeth. The two broke through on the top. I didn't even see the fussiness this time. Addie had breakfast at the Texan for the first time. She saw her first Bearkat football game as well. She likes climbing the stairs and visiting with people who sit near us. We drove home on Sunday and took a nice long nap. We tried to keep her schedule as much as possible. Later on Daddy carved a pumpkin for the first time with Addie. She wasn't afraid of the gooiness. She liked taking the top of the pumpkin on and off.
Attached are pictures of the Pharoans. We love them! Noble Orion and Casey are their kids. So much fun! Casey is such a joy and a great big sister. I hope Addie is the same way some day. No I am not pregnant. This weekend is fun but we are happy to be home. This coming week I have my big test on Saturday in Beaumont, Texas and the usual coursework during the week. We are hoping to take pumpkin patch pictures next weekend at a church near by. The weather needs to cooperate and dry up some but that's what we would like to do. Attached are some videos of Addie. Enjoy.
