Flu

Addison tested positive for the flu on Thursday. We tried another pediatrician and I really liked the office and doctor. They pride themselves on getting the baby in right away and the same day. She had 103 temperature. I felt like such a bad mom because she was bouncing up and down so much I knew she had fever but I didn't know how high. We immediately started Tamiflu and she also had two ear infections. We had a Disney movie marathon at our house and just wanted to be cuddly all day. I miss that....when Addison would let us hold her, rock her and lay on the couch together. It still happens sometimes but she is pretty independent these days. She laid on the couch all day just drinking fluids and looking real sad. She perked up by the evening and we tried to do nothing this weekend to just recooperate. Of course when Daddy got home she was all smiles. We were really blessed to have my sister in town. I took off Thursday and when she didn't have fever on Friday Lindsey watched her til I got home at three. Again, we are really grateful she was able to do that for us. She was feeling much better as of Friday afternoon. How do I know this? She was in time out three times that evening for being Miss Sassy Britches. Love her and I'm glad she is feeling better.
