Enjoying Addison

Addison is full of surprises. She enjoys people, being carried and dogs! Addie is learning more words every day. The latest is her baby doll. She is learning to say baby. She says daddy, dog and pup. Momma comes on special occasions but daddy and dog are her favorite. She doesn't quite understand birthday and christmas presents but she does like the paper and boxes. She is starting to reach things on tops of counter tops and night stands. We are having to move things back away from her reach but she is hearing no. Addie still stays out of cabinets and leaves the laptops alone. Thank goodness. She likes to play outside and loves to go walking. Addie is still on the bottle and we are working toward the sippy cup this month. No more bottles. She has done a great job of leaving our Christmas tree alone but now she likes to pull the tags off. Addie is now trying to put her socks on and gets frustrated that Momma and Daddy make it look so easy. She is great at taking folded laundry off the couch. So mom has to be pretty fast at putting it away or at least out of arms length on the couch.
Addie can climb on the ottoman now and likes to smile when she gets to the top. She gives you a kiss when you say give me a kiss or dame beso. Sometimes kisses are in the form of turning her forehead towards you. She babbles now and points at things. She is soaking up so many things and learning so many words. She signs daddy and when we get home she looks around and says dadda? My favorite is when he walks through the door she throws her arms up and says, "dadda" with excitement! Such a cutie. We are working on putting things away. She is great at getting things out of her toybox but not putting them back.
I posted a picture of Addie last year at Christmas and a picture of the Reynolds' family Christmas picture. More Christmas photos to come.
