Fall Festival 2011

Mamaw and Papaw came to visit Sunday afternoon after a long journey from Lubbock. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to do it again soon. The kids had a great time at the Coppell Bible Fellowship Fall Festival. Addison ate popcorn, jumped in a bounce house and searched for candy out of hay. She played the ring toss and some other fun games. She is one smart cookie. She discovered that she couldn't throw the ring on the peg so she went right up to it and placed it on there. We had a great time with Mamaw and Papaw. Addison did a puzzle with Mamaw at the house and then after the festival Addison and Papaw cooked the dogs on the grill. Jesse was quite compliant and did a great green monster all evening. He was tuckered out by bedtime though. Addison also rode a pony at the festival. Hers was name princess and had sparkly hooves and hot pink hair. She had a hard time being patient but Papaw helped her wait her turn in line. The weather was warmer than I initially thought but we all had a great time. Great visit and fellowship!

Trick or Treat 2011

Today the kids and I went to Richardson, Texas, UT Dallas, to trick or treat with my sister's school. It's a community function to have the kids safely trick or treat in a parking lot. Great idea. All kids of organizations can out and decorated their trunks for kids to trick or treat at. But we cut it slightly short because it got cooler than expected. Sleeping Beauty was cold and no amount of candy was going to keep myself and the kids in that since we are still recovering from the crud. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing all of the costumes as well. Now trying to deal with a bucket full of candy and explaining to a two year old why she can't eat it. One piece a day until we can get her sleep back on schedule. We are now on two nights in a row of sleeping through the night without interruptions. If only she could get back to sleeping like her brother again. I didn't realize how fortunate we were until we got sick and they weren't sleeping. Oh and our little man is a green monster from Yo Gabba Gabba.

Addie's pre-school pictures

Addison took pre school pictures this last week. I can't believe they got her to smile in four different shots. She can definitely be a pill at times for the camera. I think they turned out great!
