The last two weeks have been eventful. Jesse celebrated his first birthday. My mother and family came to visit. Jesse is a whopping 26 pounds and looks huge next to addison in our stroller. He still isn't walking but climbing on stools, couches, step ladders....whatever he is able to get his hands on. He loves to pull at his sisters hair and climb all over her. Addison fusses about it but secretly eggs it on and gives him hugs and kisses. I started a boot camp with some of my lady co workers here in Allen. I've been blessed to have such wonderful companions and a fabulous husband that supports me. Addison is taking swim lessons and is a little water bug. We are definitely enjoying our time at home with family and friends. This last week a dear friend from Katy came to visit for an extended stay. I'll give Ashlee Nouri credit. She was a champ at all three boot camps from 5:30am-6:30am, in addition to two other light work outs in between swimming laps and running. We had a great time cooking and freezing dishes. That's what we do. We made homemade meatballs, red beans and rice, gumbo, and a chicken rice casserole that we froze for upcoming months. We even made it to Chuck E Cheeses. Jared and I are signed up for a half marathon in October to run the streets of Dallas. Exciting!
